Our consciousness acts like a radio tuner, shifting its focus from one pre-existing frequency or timeline to another, making it seem as though you are moving or traveling when only your perceptions are changing. Consciousness is a lens that focuses on a single reality out of the infinite possibilities that it can match energetic frequencies with.
Our environment bombards us with roughly 11 million bits of information per second through our eyes, ears, skin, and nose. However, the conscious mind can only process about 40 to 50 bits per second. Cognitive filters act as the security guards, deciding what gets let in and what gets ignored. Cognitive filters are psychological and neurological mechanisms automatically screening out millions of data points, allowing the brain to process ONLY what you choose to be relevant. Flagging information you consider vital for survival, highly unusual, or personally important to you (like hearing your name across a noisy room).
There are internal cognitive frameworks or “maps” you build over lifetimes based on past experiences. Your belief system automatically forces, raw input to fit into pre-existing categories so it doesn’t have to relearn the world every day. The brain seeks efficiency by, prioritizing information that agrees with what you already believe, while actively deleting or distorting conflicting data.
Deletion for example the clothes on your body or the hum of traffic until someone mentions it. Distortion is altering sensory data to fit your expectations, for example a harmless shadow of a tree branch might be distorted into a person jumping out at you. When you create broad rules from a single experiences you generalize. Getting burned by one hot stove, your filter may apply “stoves are hot” rule to all similar objects so you don’t have to test each one.
Historically as our compassion for the self deceased so did the spin of the quanta in our consciousness. Low slow quanta spin lacks compassion and has little interest in understanding CAUSE and EFFECT so wisdom gathering is infrequent.
Resistance to wisdom gathering and logic is a defense mechanism.
Clinging to current beliefs allows a Dark One the illusion of safety and being in control of their reality. Resisting new information or facts would indicate you fear that you are not in control of your reality or feel safe. The brain treats uncertainty and new stress the same way it treats a physical danger. Unpredictable past events teach the nervous system that holding onto familiar beliefs keeps you safe. Fighting reality feels easier than doing the hard work of fact checking and changing your views. The body stays on high alert to block out unexpected change.
Unconscious one’s deny their awareness of cause and effect, they distract the self with dissociation, addictions, competitions, conflicts, abuses, wounds or wars and whine, that others need to change to please them by accepting their irrational fear-based thinking and need to blame and take revenge.
Blaming another means giving your control over to the one you blame.
How wise is that action?
One can reduce “what if” scenarios, by cultivating emotional resilience, by focus on controllable, immediate actions. Command your awareness to come up to present time and stay there so you can work on and enjoy resolving your issues of the now moment. Channel your support team, higher self and guides that support and guide you. Explore your fear or apathy with them when you are calm and rational they have more information than you do and will help you uncover your negative belief or misdirection that hold your consciousness in the slow low quantum spin resonance of negativity, judgment, blame, anger, fear or vengeance.
